The Slow Latin Groove Project is finally recording! We spent Friday all day in the studio and this Sunday will be it!
Hope to have a CD of songs and promotional material soon!

The Water'sEdge is located in Westbrook, CT on Long Island Sound with a great view of the water and beautiful landscape and Gardens for your wedding.

The Society Room and Riverhouse Shows!

Great to meet everyone this past weekend at both shows! The turnout for both shows was surprising and I was able to speak to many of you that attended... I think that is why I have no voice even today! The Society Room is am elegant room in Hartford and has many rooms and locations to photograph with in the building as well as that beautiful staircase! Don't forget Bushnell Park is close by!

The River house and the beautiful Connecticut River is also a beautiful place in Haddam CT,

I have photographed many weddings there and you can see some of the landscape photographs I have taken and printed in the downstairs hallway of The Riverhouse!

The Savings Institute Bank & Trust Commercial!

The Commercial for The Savings Institute Bank & Trust was a blast and we all had a lot of fun! Shooting began at Sonalyst Studios On Thursday at 11:30 and basically we all danced for 5 hours! The commercial called for Ellen Degeneris kind of dancing ( I did my best ) to the James Taylor song "It's Growing". So if you see a banking commercial in April and see a guy that looks a lot like your photographer dancing really badly...it's me!!!

Saint Clement's Castle Bridal Show last week!

The first Bridal show for me at the Saint Clement's Castle was great!

I booked a wedding with Megan and Joseph and have recieved many phone calls and emails from the many brides to be that were able to attend.

There are Two Bridal Shows this Saturday and Sunday! www.hartfordsocietyroom.com The Society Room in Hartford is under New Management and is a beautiful location in downtown Hartford. There 1st Bridal Show! February 7, 2009 10-3pm

The second Bridal Show is the River House at Goodspeed Station. February 8, 2009
The RiverHouse is located in Haddam and is next to the Connecticut River and Goodspeed Opera House!
I have already photographed many weddings here and there is no lack of beautiful locations for your photographs!
The Bridal Showcase will be from 10-3.

Joell and I will be going into the recording studio this Thursday to record a few songs that we do with Joell singing and me on stand up Bass... and that's it! Very cool sound and will have something to listen to shortly!

Four Barrel Billy

Well the gig with Shiny Lapel Trio and Ryan Hart and the Blue Hearts was a total sell out and then some! Basically the most people I have ever performed in front of as a musician!

Lots of dancing!!!... people brought food and wine and had basically an indoor festival!

Sounds like we will be doing this again! Recording for Four Barrel Billy will begin next month for our first demo! We will keep you posted!

I have been photographing many different recipes for the upcoming and third book by Diane Gardner... What's Cooking New England?. We will be shooting on Tuesday and then up to Newport for a 2 day shoot in several locations from various restaurants that have contributed recipes. The book will be published this summer and look for it at any major Bookstore.

Four Barrel Billy is now playing every other Sunday night at The Griswold Inn!

Mark Hoag on lead guitar and vocals!

Chris Devlin Brown on the Snoopy Bass and backing vocals!

Our next gig will be Jan 18 down at The Griz.

Lyle Ritz video production filming completed

This past Friday was spent filming the infamous Lyle Ritz ( Bass Player from the Wrecking Crew in L.A. ) who has performed with; Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher as well as many others. Lyle is also known for his jazz ukulele and has performed all over the world. Jim and Liz Beloff directed the instructional video and anticipate a Spring 2009 release. Devlin Photography was hired to produce and edit the final DVD. What fun to meet and listen to stories he often told throughout the day!
